Further InformationEdit Edit

A mild C. annuum, 0 to 500 SHU. The pods are red when ripe, bell-shaped. Plants reach 42 to 48 inches.

Extra-large, blocky green to red bell with thick walls and big yield potential. Vigorous 20 to 24 inch plants cover the fruit well and carry no anthocyanin, so the peppers don't purple. Intermediate resistance to BLS races 1 to 3, PVY and TMV, according to Harris.

How hot is the Aristotle?

The Aristotle measures 0–500 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making it a mild pepper — milder than the Jalapeño (5,000 Scovilles).
