Further InformationEdit Edit

The Faddas is a mild chili of the species C. chinense, measuring about 100 SHU — milder than a jalapeño. It belongs to C. chinense, the species behind the world's hottest peppers — the group that includes habaneros, Scotch bonnets, and ghost peppers, prized for fruity aroma and a slow, lingering burn. Its pods take a habanero-type form, measure 2–3 inches long, with thick flesh, and grow pendant on the plant. The plant grows to 30–36 inches tall. Its flowers are solid white/cream, its foliage is green leaves.
