BB Habanero
BB Habanero (CGN 24360) is a C. chinense habanero accession from the Centre for Genetic Resources (CGN) in the Netherlands. A reference/working variety widely used in pepper breeding, particularly in Sweden and Scandinavia. Red habanero-type pods with standard habanero heat (100,000–350,000 SHU). Often used as a parent plant in crosses; appears in many modern hobbyist cross names as "BB" (e.g., "BOC x BB Habanero").
