Further InformationEdit Edit

⚠ COLOR-SEGREGANT WORKING NAME: Documented stable lines are 7 Pot Brain Strain Red (David Capiello original) and Brain Strain Yellow. "Mustard" is a color-segregant working name from grower selections, not a stabilized commercial cultivar. May not breed true. A mustard/yellow-green-colored variant of the 7 Pot Brainstrain, a heavily wrinkled C. chinense superhot. The Brainstrain is named for its intensely bumpy, brain-like surface texture. Superhot at 1,000,000–1,500,000 SHU with a fruity, complex flavor beneath the extreme heat. The "Mustard" designation refers to the mature pod color (yellow-green). Part of the 7 Pot Brainstrain family developed in Trinidad.
