Further InformationEdit Edit

An open-pollinated sweet bell pepper bred by Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seed (Philomath, Oregon), named after the New Orleans folk song. Famous for kaleidoscopic fruit coloring that shifts through purple, lavender, yellow, lime green, and tangerine to red — multiple colors often visible on a single plant simultaneously. Compact 24-inch plants produce blocky 3.5-inch tapered fruits with crisp, sweet flesh in 75-85 days. Heatless (0–100 SHU), excellent for market growers and ornamental edible gardens.
