Further InformationEdit Edit

A sweet, near-heatless C. chinense from the Moruga Scorpion lineage, bred for tropical fruit flavor with minimal capsaicin (0–1,000 SHU). Habanero-type pods with warty/bumpy texture typical of Moruga-family peppers. Part of the sweet superhot selection category. Despite the name, this is a near-heatless pepper and is completely different from Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, a superhot reaching well over a million SHU. Ordering one expecting the other is a common mistake. Fatalii Seeds lists this variety as "Moruga Sweet".

How hot is the Sweet Moruga?

The Sweet Moruga measures 0–1,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making it a mild pepper — milder than a jalapeño.
