The Yellow Ding Dong is a hot chili of the species C. annuum, measuring 30,000 SHU — roughly 4× hotter than a jalapeño. It belongs to C. annuum, the most widely cultivated pepper species, spanning everything from sweet bell peppers to jalapeños, cayennes, and poblanos. Its pods ripen yellow, take a round/tomato/cherry/marbles form. Immature pods are green/mustard before ripening. The plant grows to 24–30 inches tall. It is also known as Yellow Dingaling.
