Aji Cachucha Boriken
A sweet, heatless C. chinense from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, part of the Cachucha family of aromatic seasoning peppers. Cachucha peppers are the Caribbean equivalent of Aji Dulce — habanero-type aroma and fruity, floral flavor with essentially no capsaicin heat (0–1,000 SHU). "Boriken" is the indigenous Taíno name for Puerto Rico. Used in Puerto Rican and Caribbean sofrito and cooking as a flavor base. Colored-colored pods.
