Further InformationEdit Edit

A hot chili, 30,000 to 50,000 SHU. The pods are 3 to 4 inches long, red when ripe.

An F1 hybrid from Floranova Ltd. with medium-hot, thin-fleshed fruit about 7 cm long. Short, tidy bushes suit 1 to 5 litre pots without support, and the pods dry easily when you want moderate heat in a dish.

How hot is the Cayennetta?

The Cayennetta measures 30,000–50,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making it a hot pepper — roughly 10 times hotter than the Jalapeño (5,000 Scovilles).
