Punta de Lanza

It belongs to C. baccatum, the South American "ají" species, known for tall plants and bright, fruity, often citrusy flavor. Its pods ripen yellow, take a long/tapered form, measure 3–4 inches long, with thin flesh, and grow pendant on the plant. Immature pods are green/mustard before ripening. The plant grows to 42–48 inches tall. Its flowers are white with basal spots, its foliage is green leaves.
