Further InformationEdit Edit

Developed by Chris Fowler at WelshChilli in Wales. A C. baccatum selection that's become one of the most popular peppers in the hobbyist community. Sweet and fruity with a manageable 50,000–100,000 SHU. Incredibly prolific — a single plant can produce hundreds of the small, peach-colored pods. Chris Fowler's biggest hit, and the starting point for the entire Sugar Rush line.

How hot is the Sugar Rush Peach?

The Sugar Rush Peach measures 50,000–100,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making it a hot pepper — roughly 13 times hotter than a jalapeño (which tops out around 8,000 SHU).
