Further InformationEdit Edit

The Thai Sse is a hot chili of the species C. annuum, measuring 50,000–100,000 SHU — roughly 13× hotter than a jalapeño. It belongs to C. annuum, the most widely cultivated pepper species, spanning everything from sweet bell peppers to jalapeños, cayennes, and poblanos. Its pods take a pequin/small bullet form, measure 0.5–1 inches long, with thin flesh, and grow upright on the plant. The plant grows to 24–30 inches tall. Its flowers are solid white/cream, its foliage is green leaves. It is recorded as originating in Thailand.
