Further InformationEdit Edit

A sweet, fragrant C. chinense from Trinidad, selected for its distinctive perfumey aroma with almost no heat (< 200 SHU). The pods have the visual appearance and fruity fragrance of a habanero without the capsaicin. Used as a flavoring pepper in Caribbean cooking where heat is unwanted but habanero aroma is desired. One of the few truly heatless chinense varieties. Often used in spice blends where habanero flavor notes are needed.
