Further InformationEdit Edit

A sweet Venezuelan C. chinense habanero selection. Habanero appearance and aroma with minimal to no capsaicin heat (0–1,500 SHU). Closely related to Aji Dulce and other low-heat Venezuelan chinense cultivars. Used in Venezuelan cooking for its fruity, tropical flavor without heat. Carried by specialty seed vendors explicitly marketed as "not hot" despite the habanero-type shape.

How hot is the Venezuelan Habanero?

The Venezuelan Habanero measures 0–1,500 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making it a medium-heat pepper — milder than a jalapeño.
