The Biquinho X is a mild chili of the species C. chinense, measuring about 1,000 SHU — milder than a jalapeño. It belongs to C. chinense, the species behind the world's hottest peppers — the group that includes habaneros, Scotch bonnets, and ghost peppers, prized for fruity aroma and a slow, lingering burn. Its pods ripen red, take a long/tapered form, measure 4–5 inches long, with medium thick flesh, and grow pendant on the plant. The plant grows to 30–36 inches tall.
