Thai Dragon

A small red Thai-type chile of the frutescens group. Close to the ordinary Thai bird chile but a distinct variety, with slightly longer pods of about two inches on a compact, heavily branched plant. Prolific, and the pods dry readily. Listed separately from Thai Hot Dragon. The name gets used loosely in the trade as a catch-all for almost any small red Thai-type pod, and nearly all of those are annuums. A Thai Dragon proper is a frutescens.
