Thailand grows small, thin-walled chiles that are picked green and red alike: prik kee noo, the bird’s eye that runs 50,000 to 100,000 SHU; the longer and milder prik chee fah; and the orange-red prik jinda. Most are C. annuum. The smallest bird types are C. frutescens.
