CAP 215 Microcarpum
The CAP 215 Microcarpum is a hot chili of the species C. annuum var. glabriusculum, measuring 50,000–100,000 SHU — roughly 13× hotter than a jalapeño. It belongs to C. annuum, the most widely cultivated pepper species, spanning everything from sweet bell peppers to jalapeños, cayennes, and poblanos. Its pods take a pequin/small bullet form, and grow upright on the plant. The plant grows to 12–18 inches tall. It is also known as CAP 215, Microcarpum.
