Trinidad Scorpion Butch T
Named after Butch Taylor of Zydeco Farms in Mississippi, who grew it from seeds obtained from a CARDI research batch. Held the Guinness record briefly in 2011 at 1.46 million SHU. The 'scorpion' tail is its defining feature — a pointed tip that curls like a scorpion's stinger. One of the first peppers to truly break into the 1.4+ million range.
