Given the extreme heat of the Reaper parent, the resulting hybrid typically measures significantly hotter than a standard habanero. Heat range 100,000–350,000 SHU depending on generation and phenotype selection. All Reaper-line crosses retain the habanero-type pod shape and tail characteristic of the Reaper parent.
